Selena Gomez, American Singer And Actress, Announced Taking A Break From Social Media On Thursday Through A TikTok Live Video After Defending Taylor Swift on TikTok.

The Who Says singer is again taking a break from social media after getting extremely active on tiktok. The 30-year-old singer announced her break from social media through TikTok live

“I’m very happy. I’m so blessed. I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn’t be happier. I’m good. I love who I am. I don’t care. I’m big. I’m not. I don’t care. I love who I am,”

The People you know singer continued by explaining that now she is too old to be active on social media

 “And yeah, I’m gonna be taking a second from social media, ’cause this is a little silly.”

“And I’m 30, I’m too old for this. But I love you guys so much. And I will see you guys sooner than later. I’m gonna just take a break from everything.”

According to some research Gomez’s sudden break from social media might come after the drama with Hailey Bieber after she defends her best friend Taylor Swift. The social media cold war started on Thursday morning when Baby singe’s wife Haily Biber appeared pretending to gag at the mention of Taylor resurfaced, where the Rare Beauty singer jumped to hunt Biber to defend her best friend. 

Gomez comments on the video clip from the show “Drop The Mic” where Bieber appeared mocking Midnight singer along with rapper Method Man. “Drop The Mic” presenter Haily’s gaging video was resurfaced by a TikToker while calling Biber a mean girl. In the clip of the resurfaced video Gomez commented

“So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game,”

In the rap battle show “Drop The Mic” Method Man appeared to describe a battle by saying

“some of the meanest lyrics about a celebrity since Taylor Swift’s last album.”

In response, Biber points her finger at her mouth and pretends to gag while the audience starts laughing at her response.

Gomez this cold war and controversy came after her previous controversy where Kylie Jenner and Biber were alleged of making fun of Gomez’s eyebrows. The Kardashian star defense herself from the argument on Instagram while claiming

 “This is reaching. no shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.” The Kaily Cosmetic founder wrote on Instagram

After Kylie’s response, the only murder of the building actress replied to her comment by writing

“Agreed @kyliejenner It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”

The Another Cinderella Story alum had taken a huge break from social media for a long time after her mental health breakdowns. The Actress and Singer claimed to have healed entirely and become more present in life after the break. While realizing the same feeling and importance Gomez has again decided to take a break.

“I haven’t been on the internet in four and a half years… It has changed my life completely,”  “I am happier, I am more present, I connect more with people.” The singer explained in the interview on Good morning America
