Priyanka Chopra Talks About Her Premature-Born Daughter Malti Marie, Who is Now in Critical Condition Due to Her Unhealthy Birth. Priyanka Reveals That The Doctor Said  ‘Didn’t Know If She Would Make It or Not’.

Renowned Indian-American actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas are heartbroken and worried for her 1-year-old daughter Malti Marie. Marie was born three months before the actual birth date due to a health emergency, which is causing her a serious health issue right now.

No matter how much the couple tried to make her daughter survive, there is no improvements in her health condition. Even though the doctor said it seems pretty hard, the couple still has some hope for their daughter.

Priyanka and Nick went to several big hospitals and showed their daughter to well-qualified pediatricians but still did not get desired results.

Priyanka stated that she and her husband Nick spent every single day in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for 3 months. The actress says in her cover story of  British Vogue which was released on Thursday 2023.

“We spent every single day with her on my chest, on my husband’s chest,”

Prianka added,

‘I didn’t know if she would make it or not.”

She also talks about those nurses who take care of her baby girl:

“I saw what the intensive-care nurses do. They do God’s work.”

“Nick and I were both standing there as they intubated her. I don’t know how they even found what they needed [in her tiny body] to intubate her.”

2000 miss world winner says that her daughter was so small, smaller than her hand when she was born. On British Vogue, the actress opens up about motherhood for the first time and writes about her daughter who was born on 21 Jan 2022 via surrogate.

The couple was so excited to be parents, which they express in various interviews. The day their daughter was born both couples announced her birth news separately through Instagram posts.

“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”

The duo did not reveal anything about her health condition when she was born. But later TMZ obtained her birth certificate after three months, which confirmed that she was born after 8 P. M at the hospital in San Diego.

The singer expressed his feelings after their daughter was finally home after battling with life and death.

“After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home,”

American singer Singer added,

‘Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.”

After their baby girl is home, the couple keeps sharing pictures of her on social media. However, the couple has been forbidden to show their daughter’s face in the media for her privacy.
